Each iteration of the NFL draft, there are talented players who descend to the later rounds before getting picked. Who will have instant impacts?

It seems as if every year some of the most productive college players slip to the later rounds during the NFL Draft.

This year proved no different as several teams were able to bolster their drafts by identifying key talent that could have a lasting impact in the immediate future.

While there is more of an uphill climb to receive playing time presented to those not drafted within the first few rounds, these players might be an exception amongst them.

According to Fox Business, late-round selections also don’t make nearly as much money. For instance, the final pick of the draft, which has been dubbed “Mr. Irrelevant,” is expected to earn an estimated $2.6 million for signing along with a $74,000 signing bonus.

Granted, most of the players selected from Rounds 5-to-7 will likely have to battle for their rightful spot on the depth chart — and possibly even making the team — but this list of five players should be the ones that have the best chance at making the squad and having an immediate impact.
