A potential college football video game may be closer than it has been in a long time. Who would be on the next EA Sports NCAA Football cover?

College football fans all around the world have been begging for a video game ever since NCAA Football 14 became the last game. Fans have missed out on the opportunity to play as dozens of college stars over the past few years. Stars like Marcus Mariota, Jameis Winston, Myles Garrett, Derrick Henry, Tua Tagovailoa and Trevor Lawrence.

Fans have also missed out on the opportunity to see some of their favorite athletes on the cover of the video game. It was a tradition for fans to wait and see which player was on the cover. From Mark Ingram to Denard Robinson to Tim Tebow, some of America’s favorite stars graced the cover of NCAA Football.

Fans still bring out their old consoles to play outdated versions of a video game just because it’s the closest thing they have. They have missed this game for years, and they would do anything to get it back.

Now, fans might hopefully get this game back. An NCAA group is working on a potential solution to issues with players being paid by possibly allowing them to profit off of their likeness and image. If that is allowed, NCAA Football is all but certain to be brought back.

If this happens, fans will have a lot of questions. One of those questions will have to be which player will be on the NCAA Football cover. Here’s my top ten candidates if we were to get one for this season.
