The second season of Shadow and Bone is now out on Netflix, which means that viewers get to enjoy Ben Barnes’ performance as General Kirigan/the Darkling. Barnes seems to forever play villains, but when he does it this well, it’s hard to complain.

The 41-year-old British actor has been a boon for the show. Some viewers may wonder if he’s attached. As far as we can tell, he isn’t. It doesn’t appear that Ben Barnes has ever been married, although there are some reports of his being in relationships.

Most recently, Life & Style reported that Barnes was dating actor and former Dancing With The Stars judge Julianne Hough. “They’ve officially been an item for two months and he has been flying to and from L.A. to be with her in New York, a source said back in August of 2022. “When they’re not together, they FaceTime every day. They’re so adorable together. Everything about the relationship is so easy and Julianne can be her true self with him. She’s never been happier.”

Is Ben Barnes married? Does Ben Barnes have a wife?

That report came out a while ago, and it’s not known if there’s been any changes since. Ben Barnes is active on social media, including Instagram, but mostly he shares stuff about his professional endeavors, not his personal life.

Barnes has been able to more or less fly under the radar when it comes to media digging into his personal life, and good for him. Although if he continues to have more career success, that may change. For now, you can see him in Shadow and Bone on Netflix.

Shadow and Bone season 2 expands the show’s horizons, for good and ill. dark. Next
