Succession is one of the best shows of the past five years, and it’s currently in its final season. Who will be in charge of Waystar Royco when all is said and done? Will Logan Roy finally be proud of one of his children from beyond the grave? Will Tom and Greg run off together? Anything could happen.

As of this writing, there are only three episodes left. The final episode, “With Open Eyes,” will air on Sunday, May 28.

That’s only three more hours of Roy family insults and high-stakes business deals. Where does the time go?

When is the Succession series finale?

Actually, it’s a little over three hours. According to Nicholas Britell, who composes the music for Succession, the series finale is longer than usual. “It’s 90 minutes,” Britell told Variety. “It’s a huge episode — like a movie.”

That sounds appropriate. Succession is an epic series and deserves an epic ending.

The title is intriguing, too. What could “With Open Eyes” mean? The characters — especially the members of the Roy family — have always had a hard time seeing certain things: love, family, a future that didn’t revolve around money and power. Will at least one of them be able to open their eyes and break free from the cycle of trauma that has defined their lives? We’ll find out on May 28!
